FOR CHILDREN
Dr Philip Cam is the Head
of the School of Philosophy at the University of New
South Wales. He has toured the world speaking at
conferences and has appeared many times in the media.
FENG
SHUI
Gerry Heaton is fast
becoming the guru of Feng Shui in Australia appearing at
Expos, ABCTV's "Gardening Australia", speaking at
corporate conferences. He has a busy private consultancy
and lectures at Nature Care College, St Leonards, Sydney.
THE
MIGRANT EXPERIENCE
Effy Alexakis and Leonard
Janiszewski (based in Sydney) capture in words and
pictures the Greek migrant experience and have travelled
Australia and Greece with their major photographic
exhibition.
Adriane Wildencamp, a
medical practitioner, travelled from Germany to Australia
to fall in love with this country and an Australian man.
She has settled, with a rural practice, outside
Hobart.
Anna Rosner Blay (based
in Melbourne), a French and English teacher, explores the
difficulty of being the child of Holocaust survivors who
migrated to Melbourne. Her mother and father were saved
by Oscar Schindler.
MILITARY
HISTORY
Dr Tom Frame (based
outside Canberra), an Anglican minister, is the
best-selling author of several naval histories including
The Shores of Gallipoli. He also has a deep interest in
the experience of adoption and reunion being himself an
adoptee. Dr David Kent(based in Armidale), is an
historian with a special interest in the newspapers of
the AIF 1914-1919.
Jo Stevenson (based in
Sydney and Colorado), is the wife of Captain Stevenson,
captain of HMAS Melbourne when it collided with USS Frank
E. Evans 30 years ago. You will also find links to our

GENEALOGY
Janet Reakes (1952 -
2002), was one of Australia's leading experts in
genealogy. Since her passing in 2002 family and friends
have maintained a website in Janet's memory which lists
many useful links for an budding genealogist (see link
below).

Associate Professor of Community Medicine at the
University of New South Wales and has assisted people to
